Does a song sleep in all things around? - An Essay

(in German only)

Sleeps a song in all things - that's where it starts. It sounds so simple and yet it is unclear. ONE song in all things - or one song in all things - how many things have how many songs? And why actually one LIED? Is song not sung language - a text provided with melody, melody of language, rhythm of language, onomatopoeia and so on? - Why, then, does sung language sleep in all things - or in every thing a language and a song - the very idea makes me dizzy! And then: what is a thing? Only an object of external observation, at best an object of subjective attributions - that is, a thing that, for lack of its own essence, cannot possibly sound out of itself, because by definition it lacks precisely that which has a voice in it that could sing or otherwise make itself heard.
